On January 1, The 2018 New Year sermon was delivered by Rev. David Jang the World Olivet Center in New York. The message was from Joshua 1:1-8, Isaiah 61:1-3, and John 2:1-10.
The US Mission Conference begins on December, 26th after the conclusion of the 2017 Christmas Retreat. For two days ministers will gather and determine the course of US mission for the next year while presenting about their goals and strategies.

Was a beautiful night of celebration that was lived in the church Emanuel, the leaders prepared a small activity with the help of children and youth to help people remember and meditate the true meaning of Christmas. This activity was prepared for 60 people, the number of chairs in the church.
On December 25th, Christmas joint retreat completed, celebrating the Christmas service with Korea and East Asia attendants. During the period, All members meditated on the core truths of the gospel-centered on Jesus Christ, and God give a great blessing during the four-day even. After the sharing testimony of grace
Christmas was joyfully celebrated by Immanuel Community Church in Badarpur area of Delhi with over 100 people in attendance with many special performances from the church members.
As Christmas is closely approaching, OA Japan has announced that the 2017 Christmas Retreat will be held in the Japan Olivet Center from 23-25th. All churches in Japan are invited to join the retreat. Japan ministers and their church members are all able to come and participate in the retreat this year.
OA USA has announced that the 2017 Christmas retreat and conference will be held in Dover from December 23-25th with the theme, Luke 2:14: "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
Olivet Assembly of Zambia goes forward with their plan for building the carpentry school in Africa. Registration will be the first step to build the carpentry school. It is only available after the graduation of high school which is grade 12.
