Lisbon Concludes Elim Gathering, Prayer Fellowship

On Sunday, Elim Portugal gathering in Lisbon concluded with Sunday service, breaking bread, and prayer fellowship.

Sunday sermon was delivered by speaker Pastor Mark Spisak with the title 'Forgiveness' looking at the multiple scriptures in Old and New testament starting with Psalm 32:1-5 and finishing with Matthew 18:21-35.

Forgiveness is something we can look at two levels, vertical is forgiveness we need to receive from God and come to us through the cross of Jesus Christ. Horizontal forgiveness is between fellow men and has two directions. We need to forgive others and be forgiven by them. "As God through his great mercy forgiven us and reconciled us with through his Son to himself. So we need to forgive others and be messengers of reconciliation and unity." shared the preacher.

All participants join in breaking bread after the sermon sharing the message and its application to their life, as to forgive is crucial step to build unity in the church and also be the one who can be forgiven by God. Attendants also expressed deep gratitude for being able to come for Elim gathering to Portugal and pray together with other leaders and unite through lectures, prayers and mysterious work of Holy Spirit that builds harmony and gives us joy.

May the Spirit of God moves powerfully in leaders hearts as Portugal strives for revival in the year 2017.

God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
