Moscow Hosts CIS Region Conference, Address 2018 Plans

Moscow Conference

The leadership conference for Olivet Assembly in the Commonwealth of Independent States took place in Moscow, Russia from January 7-9. OA General office staffs, ministers and missionaries gathered from Russia, Ukraine and Estonia for the meeting, which focused on strengthening mission leaders in the region spiritually, and establishing practical mission strategies for the year. 

The representative of the OA Russia, Rev. Aquila Chu, and the representative of the OA Estonia, Rev. Volodymyr Syniavskyi, preached from the Sermon on the Mount. 

The national leaders of the OA also held separate conferences, where they discussed the challenges in the mission as well as the plan and strategy for 2018. The conference sought to organize the mission effort that took place in the region so far and prepare for a new wave of expansion this year. OA Europe president, Rev, Joao Cardoso, joined the conference by phone.
