OCP Children Held Delhi City Educational Tour
Under-privileged students who are taking free tuitions from Olivet Children Project (OCP) in East Delhi went for Educational Tour of Delhi city yesterday - they were all excited to see historical landmarks as well as visiting children's park.
The children went to see Red Fort and Old Delhi wall city; later on they toured President House, Parliament area and India Gate. They have heard all these places in their school textbooks but they have never seen them. Finally, they dropped by a Children's Park (free entrance) - which lies adjacent to India Gate, which is a World War II memorial.
"The parents and children are very excited because they are getting the opportunity to see these places for the first time in their life," said the pastor.
"We want to thank OCP for running the classes as well as making this trip possible," he said.
OCP will make such plan from time to time to let the students see and experience firsthand what they have been studying.
