East Asia Conference Concludes, Emphasizes on Principles of Faith

From October 10-12, East Asia Conference was held on Jeju Island in South Korea with leadership that gathered from a number of nations in the region. The last day of the conference focused on the basic principles of faith, and the knowledge required in proclaiming the gospel's core. Rev. David Jang lectured on the "Four Spiritual Laws" of faith and referred to passage from John 3:16.

GOD EXISTS
Objectively, we can see that this world was not created by coincidence. There is One who clearly put order in place. Subjectively, mankind has a conscience capable of feeling guilt - God is the one who created this. While God set laws (by nature in their heart) on what mankind should and should not do, but mankind sought to break the very law and left God.

SIN
God is a fair judge. The fact that death is penalty for sin is a clear truth. Men without God serve idols and sin. Although we may not murder, commit adultery and steal outwardly, our soul commits sin. In Romans 7, Paul expresses the deep groans of the sinful existence that our soul encounters.

SALVATION THROUGH THE CROSS
God loved the world and intervened in the tragic lives of those who were destined for death. He sent His one and only son Jesus Christ who suffered for us and took the cross died on our behalf, redeeming us from our sin. This is perfect redemption in the Bible - the imputing of sin to the scapegoat in the priestly law (Leviticus 16) and, in Paul's analog from New Testament, comparison to the Roman commercial law, which was the known civilized code at that time.

Through Jesus and the cross of his precious blood, we have come to know his love. The God of who loves gave us His Son's life as an atoning sacrifice. This is grace, and accepting this is faith.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

KINGDOM OF GOD
Evangelism is teaching about the Kingdom of God. We have the commission to preach to the ends of the earth and let all men know of God's saving truth and his salvation for all.

Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
