OTM Unites with South America to Seek Experienced Teen Mission Leaders
On September 29, Olivet Teen Mission held a conference with ministers from the South America region. Since the region has the most teens, the missionaries are meeting weekly with the ministry to be able to set up more leaders in their countries. Through this week's meeting, they were able to discuss more on what kind of person to pray.
The presider had reminded the church leaders to pray for specifically for setting up new leaders. Especially if they can recruit experienced leadership, it will help the ministry develop better because the person has the skills and experience with teens. Examples were given of a teacher, a student studying to be a teacher or a previous youth ministry worker. The OTM HQ assured that there are many people who already have the desire to reach teenagers because they are suffering and need guidance.
"Through our prayers, God is preparing the person. Our responsibility is to keep praying and seeking for them so they can recognize the calling of God," shared the OTM leader.
