Elim Holds Spirit-Filled Healing and Prophetic Prayer Retreat

ELIM

Elim Center in Kirkwood, NY held the Elim Healing & Prophetic Prayer Retreat on July 15, sharing heavenly grace and gifts with all the attendees.

"My heart was completely touched by God's love today and I wish to learn more about how to develop an intimate relationship with God and how to be complete through his forgiveness," said Livy Disla from Olivet Teen Mission.

The retreat began with a message entitled "Heart of God," by pastor Faith. Using metaphors, she described the journey of knowing the heart of God as going through the "room of holiness," "room of intimacy," "room of wailing," and "strategy office."

"The message was so deep that I cannot even express with words, but the main parts that touch me were that to enter the room of holiness the first thing that we need to do is to repent. By doing this we can become pure and enter the intimate room. After this, we enter the room of wailing. This was very profound and too massive to understand, however, this is the room where we can understand God's suffering and pain. God has pain because he is carrying our pain. Our pain is his pain. God wants someone who can comfort his heart and who is willing to cry together with him. This was very, very deep. After this, we enter the strategy room which is where God can use us."

After the message, there was a group prayer meeting in which members cried out to the Lord for the development of their relationship with God.

After the refreshing lunch fellowship prepared by the Elim Cafeteria, attendees gathered again for pastor Zechariah's lecture about forgiveness.

"This is really beautiful because through accepting and believing in God's forgiveness we can truly experience the salvation of Jesus Christ. When we can accept and believe that God has forgiven us completely and has accepted us not only can we experience the fullness of joy but we can also pray for others in a deeper level."

Afterward, members joined either the Healing Room or Prophetic Room according to their registration to receive prayer from the Healing Team or Prophetic Team, both of which consisted of Elilm HQ and  Dover staff.

Elim gives all the thanks and praises to the Lord for the successful retreat. Please continue to pray for the development of Elim Center.

Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
