OA USA to Hold Four Day Mission Conference for Pastors
OA USA church pastors and ministers will convene in New York from June 19-22.
The conference program includes various sessions and seminars in regards to diverse areas of church mission and para-church activities. The pastors and leaders who participate in the four-day meeting will be given opportunities to share progress reports and goals.
They will discuss the strategies of Church Growth in an American context and ways to increase churches by continual effort of church planting, pioneering, launching new ministries and fellowships across the 50 states of the country.
As most pastors and ministers are from major big cities of the United States, outreach efforts and evangelism methodologies will be discussed to help all OA churches reach various ethnic, vocational, and age groups within the church. Within the dynamics of urban mission, many fresh topics are being discussed in the Christian world to communicate the gospel effectively and reach the lives of many people.
"We prepared the meeting to be resourceful and informative to all OA pastors and ministers in their pursuit of church growth and spreading the gospel. Missiological and methodological themes will be discussed to bring closer what we have aimed to fulfill in this country," the chief moderator of the meeting, Sophia Vivian, said.
OA USA churches are making a united effort to preach the Word in the country through numerous collaborative projects and programs. The programs were formulated with a firm belief that the gospel impacts the world with transformative power and influence and pastors are messengers of those messages. May this vision reach the powerful fulfilment of God's kingdom in the nation.
