BAM Conference Discusses Support for Mission and Education Advancement

Business as Mission Discussion Forum Held in New York

From June 3-5th, Leaders from different ministries and organizations met in New York to discuss strategies to further support ministry and mission. The agenda included goals and directions to build financial foundation solidly for church growth through business strategies.

The opening service addressed the position and role of the business in mission and God's Kingdom. Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12 communicate that the body of Christ is made of different structures of these areas. As the ministry grows, it diversifies into different and more detailed systems that carry out all the works needed to expand. As additional people come into the body of Christ, there are more ways for people to serve the church.

Just like the Ark of Noah that has different floors and different levels, ministries can become multifaceted into order to support their needs for teaching the Bible, education, and supporting finances. Everything becomes united in the Holy Spirit and towards expanding the Kingdom of God.

During the meeting, deacons gathered from various business ministries to discuss continued support of building education. They seek to serve righteously and honorably according to the Biblical tradition.

Apostle Paul concluded that Jesus' ministry was made up of being the priest, prophet, and king. He was a well-known missionary, excellent teacher of the Bible, and also active in business to compete self-support. He strived not to be a burden to anyone but made himself useful by earning himself. The ultimate goal is building God's Kingdom by building and collaborating together in service for everything that is needed.

The way to love the Lord is to feed the sheep, to fill their needs.

Romans 12
13 Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

The deacons who gathered from diverse ministries and churches seek to settle in obedience of the Word, engraving it in their hearts. The three day meeting was concluded with reassurance of the overall goal and direction of various business missions to become a powerful engine for diverse activities and project in church growth.

Please pray that the foundation of God's Kingdom may continuous be fulfilled, that God would bless ministries with all of their financial needs.

Appointing Elders, Advancing the Gospel

Paul's letter to Titus opens with urgency and mission. Crete had received the gospel. Churches had been planted. But Paul makes it clear: the work wasn't finished. The gospel had come, but in order to take root, grow, and expand further, elders had to be appointed. Leadership wasn't optional-it was foundational.

Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
