Olivet Seminary Plans Towards Reaching One Million Students
Inspired by the great vision of Olivet Seminary, the first conference of goal setting for 2017 was held on May 18th. Vice president Dr. Matthias and staff made the basic structure and plan for the rest of the year.
Olivet Seminary is an independent network of Bible schools created through the cooperation between Olivet Theological College and Seminary and the World Olivet Assembly. It exists for the advancement of Christian missions through the teaching of the Bible to all peoples.
The significant feature of Olivet Seminary is that it allows students to study theology in their native language, while they are working in their local ministry. It opens doors for many people who are eager to learn but have no chance to study on site. We believe it will make a great contribution to the growth of the local church and ministries worldwide.
The initial goal is to reach one million students worldwide. To achieve this goal, Olivet Seminary plans to set up the basic system for Administration, Communication, and Academics. We will make every effort to recruit teachers and students from June, and start non-credit programs in 3-7 locations from July. By this year's General Assembly, we aim to have the Administration Handbook, Promotion Materials, and Websites for each region ready to use.
May God bless Olivet Seminary and grow it in many cities, make it a great tool to educate young Christian leaders.
