OA SEA Presents GO! SEA Program, Recruits Missionaries to the Unreached
The General Secretary of OA SEA gave a presentation to Asia Pacific regional leaders during the regional conference that was held recently.
During the presentation, the uniqueness and mission challenges of the region were shared along with the vision to reach the 51.6% of the region's population who are still unreached. Subsequently, the current situation of the region and the hopeful strategy of outreach classes were also shown to present an overall outlook of the regional mission development.
In response to the current mission situation, invitation to recruit missionaries were next extended to regional churches through the GO! SEA mission program. Proposed to be held after The destination of the first GO! SEA program that involves cities in Philippines.
After several rounds of successful organization of the program in Southeast Asia, it will next be extended to other cities in Southeast Asia. The objective of the program not only seeks to expose participants to cross-cultural mission with a view to raise them as long-term missionaries, but it also serve to strengthen the local church mission through the involvement of short-term missionaries in terms of teaching vocational outreach classes in relation to their gifts and talents.
More discussions will continue between OA SEA and OAAP in the coming days to finalize the program details.
