WOA Fellowships and Ministries Hold Meeting on the First Day of the Lent
WOA Fellowship and Ministry Leaders held a meeting on the first day of Lenten period towards Easter 2017. WOA seeks revival of mission in diverse areas throughout the forty day period until April 17th. Various events and programs are being prepared to communicate the Cross and Resurrection profoundly.
Leaders of Fellowship and Ministry organizations shared reports on ongoing projects and movements they drive currently. Action plans and priorities were addressed to find collaborating points within member bodies. Until Easter Vigil, all WOA bodies will strive to fulfill stronger platform for powerful mission and growth.
The topics addressed during the meeting include sustainability in finances, promotion of clear goal, timely operation, and providing staff. Training and resource programs were also introduced to meet the goal of raising new leaders and staff in all headquarters offices.
Leaders shared a common interest, to have a Christ-like mind that emptied His own life to save many. The message of the Cross should be embedded as a foundational philosophy of every project and action plan to achieve a transformational leap of faith in every ministry.
The moderator emphasized that Fellowships and leaders should take a momentum to set up a clear goal in the time of lent, and stride and push to see that there is progress in each goal. Leaders must discover that if they take action, God is faithful in the fulfillment of his promise and that such faith is not blind hope.
"Revival is an immediate thing, when it happens the Holy Spirit will make it grow and multiply immediately. Now is the time to grow in numbers. When people are put into action it will bear fruits. If a chapter grows to three or more people that work together, it would wield much more power and push forward," the WOA General Secretary added.
