OA Zambia Holds Cell Leadership Training on Church-Plating

Olivet Assembly of Zambia held 'Cell Leadership Training' starting from January 17th. On the third day of trainning , Olivet Assembly Zambia continues Cell Leadership Training. Pastor Mussonda lectured on "Church Planting, Calling and Leadership of Church Planter."

Pastor Mussonda shared on leader's loyalty and love, eager and earnest, adaptable and adorable, decisive toward death,  Expectant and excellent, responsibility to authority, live as a soldier, practice hospitality, and receive inspirations. He also shared to have priority for God's Kingdom and to be a worshipper of God.

On the second day, in Jan 20, He shared for pastors ethics that pastor need to careful to do not talk too much and not using secular languages, avoid political topics, do not attack other pastors, do not counseling single opposite gender and separating level for counseling, to have good clothing and eating attitude. Church planter character supposed to have commitment to do preaching and teaching, encouraging people, communication. Also emphasizing to commit prayer and evangelism, listening first, to have generosity, sacrifice and serving heart.

He said "Church is not a building, it starts from inside of us". He shared that church is supposed to provide the Bible first rather than plain words or philosophy. On deliverance and prophecy, he said "Do not follow others prophecy as like on TV but say what God only after you have check that it is in agreement with what bible says." 

Other lessons include strategies and development of  churches and the mission field. "Before everything else, a church planter is supposed to know Jesus first," shared Pastor Mussonda.

Pastor Mussonda emphasized to look beyond the blood ties from family. Instead, leaders should develop charisma as a minister from God and from knowledge of the Bible. Ministers should research for the potential local areas to be evangelized go leave their own boundaries of life.
