Jubilee World Leadership Conference: Return to Festival of Joy

Jubilee representatives held conference and discussed the direction of the new year. Jubilee World Execuitve Director Aaron Reppert gave an elaborate presentation on Jubilee's 2017 Vision Planning. Leaders received renewal of strength as biblical values was shared on praise and worship, identity in the children of God, and the meaning of music.

What is music and who is a musician? A person who enjoys and shares music is one who expresses the inner world of themselves. Jubilee leaders are encouraged to reflect: Why do you do music? And why does it have to be Jubilee? 1 Peter 3:15 says, "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." In meditating on the name and meaning of "Jubilee", members recall the "year of Jubilee," the year to freedom and salvation. After Israelites crossed the Red Sea under God's grace, Miriam sang the first praise song recorded. We sing and play music because there is joy and thankfulness for our salvation through Christ, and nothing can contain this joy.

This is the vision of Jubilee, to share the Gospel of Christ so that all the people of God can sing with freedom the song of salvation. Jubilee is more than a merely a club of musical talents or hobbies; there is a deeper cause and unifying factor: the Kingdom of God. Through music that glorifies God, His people are comforted (Isaiah 40:1) and He also receives joy. The time of enslavement has ended, no one can be bound or detained. For this reason we praise our Savior. This has to be the underlying foundation inside any musician.

Under Christianity-based media, there is a stronger force to shake people's hearts and touch their souls. Are our hearts stirred when we sing praises to God? Jubilee members are exhorted to remain true before God. When a person sings out of trueness, nothing is ever the same. When a group of people sing out of genuineness, as Jubilee's logo of 7 horns demonstrates, they present the festival of joy. The joy of salvation is proclaimed.

Mr. Reppert gave a presentation of "Jubilee World 2017 Vision Planning." Jubilee HQ presented the plans on recruitment, media development, membership expansion, and solidified leadership structure. Jubilee World is to expand its national chapters before its 15th world conference and general assembly. In addition, in this new year, Jubilee media will work on producing high-quality concerts, music videos, and promotional films to inspire the public with the Light of Christ. The final vision of Jubilee Media will lead the transformation of the general trend of media: all darkness and negativity will be replaced away by the love of God, as proclaimed in the Word of God through Jubilee's original music products.
