OLI Scheduled Throughout the Continents for 2017

As the year of 2017 starts, all over the globe, OLI leadership training has been the greatest framework raising powerful leaders that can succeed in planting cities and doing mission field while serving wholeheartedly carrying the Great Commission of God in their respective nations. With the success of OLI from last year, Olivet Assembly throughout the world is now preparing for the future participants and a schedule for the year 2017.

Most OLI training will intensely focus Genesis, Romans, the Gospels, Exodus, the Book of Acts, and Galatians, are all fundamental points of study for future leaders. Topics like Soteriology, Christology, Eschatology, Ecclesiology, and Missiology are all expected to be fully addressed and explored.

Also, Spiritual Formation, Christ-Like Leadership, Spiritual Care and Counseling, Ministry Formation, Church Planting, and Church Administration will be meant to raise strong leaders that can develop mission and truly building the Kingdom of God. Each of these areas will also be sought to be implemented and supported with hands on experience that allows students to practice in social and community environments. 

United States

OLI US will plan to have four programs with each of the seasons. OLI spring will be held during spring break, summer during June, fall in September, and winter during the winter break, and potentially early 2018. US assembly is also considering to expand OLI into programs specifically for members.

Asia Pacific

AP OLI planned to be held 4 times this year and depending on number of participants that can be gathered. The dates are planned to be between major retreats in order not to clash with local events. The will be two program, the first focus is for members that would last for 2 week program, and another is for focusing on raising missionaries that would last for 4 week program. The program will consist of Bible studies, theological studies and practical training.

South East Asia

For SEA, the plan is to hold one OLI session every quarter. Initial plans are for each session to have different themes, such as Christian Leadership, Church Planting, Campus Mission, Preaching & Teaching, and Business as Mission etc. The earliest plan is to be held in March. This OLI will mainly focusing on foundations of Christian Leadership. SEA HQ will work towards finalizing the team of lecturers within the end of January, which will be developing the materials.

India

For India, the plan is to hold Indian Christian Leadership Institute (ICLI) training session every quarter. A training program that is different from OLI which will include training and accepting outsiders as well. The recruitment team will start touring at the end of February or early March; this will tell how much potential participants can be gathered.

Europe

OLI Europe summer training is planned for second half of August 2017. OA Europe aims to gather all new potential leaders from churches across the region. Curriculum is being prepared, but will cover Bible basics as well as theory and practical training for mission and administration.
