Olivet Children Project Inaugurated in India

olivet children project

Olivet Children Project (OCP), the childcare project in New Delhi was gracefully and successfully inaugurated on Saturday, 3rd December 2016 in the presence of children and their parents.

The programme started with the project Director P. Udaya welcoming and introducing the guests. After P. Udaya and his wife Mama performed one song three girls from the church performed beautiful dance on one Hindi gospel song which was enjoyed by everyone.

Four voluntary teachers were introduced to the crowd and people present on the occasion. It was followed by ribbon cutting from the chief guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest exhorted the audience that if the children are trained in the way they should go (in the way of the Lord), they will not leave when they are grown up quoting from Proverbs 22:6. The leader also said that all are created equal and if given opportunity, all children can excel in life. All they need is proper training and teaching. Parents should not just scold their children but they must train them in place like OCP so that they do not need to scold much but the disciplined child will become useful child and obedient child. The chief guest asked the parents to say with their mouth that their children can excel in life and they can.

More talents show and dance performances were there and the gathering was concluded with prayer from Mrs.Shirley, who accompanied OA India general secretary and team.

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
