Youth Conference To Be Held in Puerto Rico
The AM International representative will be visiting Puerto Rico in July and will hold a conference to recruit campus ministry staff.
AM hopes to co-work strongly with the churches in San Juan to set up a strong youth and campus fellowship.
Research shows that about 30% of Puerto Rico's population is under the age of 25. However, the island is full of increasing crime rates, drugs, and gangs. The economy is also in a very great crisis. The light of Word is needed to lift the heavy spirits and revive believers.
AM is preparing to give a presentation to the youth in Puerto Rico regarding the ministry. The representative also prays to share strategies and plans to go forward and recruit workers for AM.
One benefit of co-working in Puerto Rico is that residents have access to the U.S. Puerto Ricans can serve as a bridge to support Spanish language mission in the U.S. This country is very important and valuable for expanding the reach of AM U.S. mission.
The representative is currently in contact with a current missionary in Puerto Rico, Pastor Julia. They pray that many young people can gather at this time to be ignited with passion to save one more soul in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
