OLI Commences Training for Future Leaders

Olivet Leadership Institute

Olivet Leadership Institute began its June 6-July 2 session on Monday with an opening service. Olivet Assembly expects that participants attending the Christian leadership program at OLI will respond strongly to God's calling to serve in greater ways through their local congregations or ministries as these prepare for expansion in the coming months.

Olivet Leadership Institute is starting the program with attendees that are mostly attending program for the first time in a new location for the program in New York.

In an opening service Pastor Francis Helguero urged participants to hold on to their identity of people saved and chosen by God in love so that the next 30-day period of Word lectures and practical training for church work can bear fruit.

"Looking over the new group fills me with hope. I can feel everyone who is attending has a strong desire to understand how God wants to use them. I hope through the messages and training they can firmly take hold of the work and the vision for God's Kingdom," said Pastor Francis Helguero.

The service included a passage from Acts 20:28 which mentions "Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood."

Please pray for the growth, development and training that will occur through the June 6 - July 2 training, and that these members may develop into great leaders.
