OWDC Dedicates New Center for Christian Design and Art
The Olivet World Design Center in New York was dedicated on Pentecost Day, Sunday, May 15.
The beautiful facility is seated on a hill with a view of both the Evangelical Center to the east and the World Olivet Center to the north.
The 24-acre property has three houses including a three-story mansion with ten rooms. The stone mansion has a classical ambiance that is both warm and inviting and the main room seats up to 137 people, making it ideal for retreats, conferences, and gatherings.
Receiving their inspiration from God's good work of creating the heavens and the earth, designers at the Center gather to reflect the glory of God and the beauty of His creation through their work.
And though the world is fallen and marred by sin, the redeeming power of Jesus Christ in reconciling all things to Himself gives hope for restoration and desire to see God glorified through the visual arts.
