Pentecost Season Dedicated to Raise Leaders

leadership conference

Centered around Pentecost, the event to celebrate the Holy Spirit being poured down on the first apostles of Christ, enabling them to become powerful leaders of the early church, the World Olivet Assembly holds leadership trainings and conferences worldwide with the goal to raise competent and wide-hearted leaders for all ministries.

In the beginning of the year 2016, WOA announced to focus on raising leaders in all fields of its worldwide mission and ministry works. From end of April until beginning of July, members of Olivet Assembly's worldwide mission and ministry works will convene in six major events:

The 2016 World KBer Conference has already begun on April 25 and will last until May 6. It is hosted by the Olivet Center and the KBer World Headquarters in Wingdale, NY, USA. The conference is focused on strengthening the global KBer Network and increasing business activities and income in order to support mission more effectively.

Olivet Assembly of India will hold a Leadership Conference in New Delhi, beginning on May 2. Leaders from the vast region of Eurasia, comprising Central Asia and East Europe, will convene for a regional Leadership Seminar in Kiev on May 6.

From May 12 to 15, European leaders and members who are supposed to take leading positions in the near future, will meet in London for a profound Leadership Training Seminar. This event is focused on giving basic lectures regarding the biblical concept of leadership, helping especially new members to define and fill their position as leaders.

In New York, the Olivet Leadership Institute will gather leaders from North America and other regions for its profound and intense Summer Program from June 6 to July 10.

The Olivet Leadership Institute of Olivet Assembly of South America will hold two Training Programs, one in Caracas for the North and North East Region of  the sub-continent, and another one in Buenos Aires for the South West and East Region on June15. The main object is to motivate registered members to commit themselves fully to mission and to become leaders for South American churches and ministries.

For Pentecost, churches and fellowships worldwide will hold regional or local gatherings in order to remember and refresh the great grace that was given through the Holy Spirit which, following the cross and resurrection of Christ, came down on all people without discrimination as the gift of forgiveness and reconciliation from God. Churches of the World Olivet Assembly celebrate this event to strengthen their foundation on Christ and to confirm the great commission entrusted to them: to witness Christ and to preach His gospel to everyone.
