KBer World Conference Focuses Network and Growth

kbers

The 2016 KBer World Conference, inaugurated with joy and excitement in the KBer World Headquarters in Wingdale, New York on April 25, continues with encouraging contributions and active participation by all attendants.

The meeting unites continental representatives and international KBer members with the goal to share current ministry projects and to train members in applying various business models, thereby strengthening and enlarging the global KBer network. The conference will last for two weeks and is hosted by Olivet Center in Wingdale.

KBer, abbreviation for Kingdom Builders, is a ministry formed by members of the Olivet Assembly with the purpose to provide a financial basis for their worldwide mission works by developing, running and training in simple business models.

The KBer ministry regularly holds training programs to equip missionaries worldwide with necessary skills to set up and run businesses in their mission fields. Missionaries and fellowships are grateful for this opportunity to support their mission, making them financially independent and enabling them to concentrate on their commission of teaching the gospel of Christ. Kingdom Builders co-work in a global network encouraging each other and supporting numerous missionaries to fulfil their commission and to expand their mission activities continuously.

The concept of Kingdom Builders, or in similar meaning, Kingdom Business, is based on the biblical model exercised by Apostle Paul, who worked as a tent maker to support his mission activities financially. Therefore, the KBer ministry is also named tent-making ministry. Members working in the KBer ministry connect all their works strictly to this biblical basis - this means, the sole purpose of earning money is to support mission, to bring the good news of salvation in Christ to all people.

The biblical foundation and purpose of the KBer ministry was emphasized and deeply reflected in the opening session of the conference. Afterwards, continental representatives presented projects and developments of Kbers in their respective region. Following sessions are focused on training and learning to enable members to define and apply various business models appropriate for their regions of origin.

Participants gave joyful reflections after the first hours of the conference. They are grateful for the opportunity to meet and share with many members of the worldwide Olivet Community and to learn from each other in order to make their business activities fruitful for God´s Kingdom.

Appointing Elders, Advancing the Gospel

Paul's letter to Titus opens with urgency and mission. Crete had received the gospel. Churches had been planted. But Paul makes it clear: the work wasn't finished. Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. But Scripture gives a clear reminder: the building of God's Kingdom is not a human achievement. As Zechariah 4:6 declares, "Not by might nor by

God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Scripture declares, "For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace" (John 1:16, ESV). This

Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
