WOA Emphasizes on Education, Service Preparation toward Pentecost
In the first meeting after Easter, representatives of world regions gathered to discuss the direction of mission toward Pentecost, and sharpened on the focuses that should be emphasized among ministers and churches who are looking for growth in the next 50 days.
The presider pressed on the importance of raising leaders after the Easter gatherings. The key to furthering church growth is to build its foundation with new leaders who can proactively take part in the advancement of its mission. Ministers should not remain alone in the pursuit of their ministry, co-workers needs to be raise effectively to care for an expanding congregation and to exceed the limit in ministry presented through one person's work.
An emphasis was also placed on the planning of sermons for services held by every church. A teacher who seeks for the enrichment of students cannot take their curriculum lightly; it is only with planned education can he bring the desired result for students to advance to the next level.
WOA's Service Order Committee will continue to promote the standard for service preparations, and seek to train ministers on understanding the traditions of faith and order, and how to conduct the ministry of the church and service.
