OA India Focuses on "People Group" Evangelism for Massive Growth

Olivet Assembly of India has exhorted churches to continually pay attention to the people they are reaching out to and to focus on certain "people group" for massive growth although it may take more efforts but it's really about focus.

It has been proved and witnessed that in a place like India although individual's evangelism and salvation is good and important, church movement and proper propagation of the gospel happens only when one person from "people groups" is raised and that person will be a blessing to all his people around him, bringing forth missional breakthrough to begin self-propagating Christian church movement.

According to the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, "a people group is the largest group within which the Gospel can spread as a church planting movement without encountering barriers of understanding or acceptance."

"There is a pattern. They all relate to one another with certain ties and closeness which they can relate to one another. Among them is Umit, who had accepted Lord Jesus as his personal Saviour and who is growing rapidly at Delhi church is now brining his people one by one to the Lord to the delight of church leaders," said Delhi church pastor.

"This is just a sample. Other churches in other cities must be experiencing the same kind of movement. We must encourage one another and make the movement among their own people group. Otherwise, if only an individual comes to the Lord, there are many barriers in society," the pastor said.
