OTM Intl Strategizes on Raising Ministry Level during Lent

Olivet Teen Mission International is strategizing on how to raise the level of teen ministry departments of churches during Lent. The ministry desires to use this special time to engage those who want to come closer to Christ and serve in His Kingdom.

During Lent, the spiritual atmosphere changes and those who are believers are more open to join church activities. Because of this, OTM wants to put more effort on evangelizing Christians and inviting church members to participate in teen ministry.

One strategy that the ministry is guiding ministers to do is to go to Christian schools in their cities. By going to Christian High Schools or Middle Schools, the hope is to evangelize Christians who are prepared by God, seeking to come to know Him more during this time of Lent. These students may be looking for ways to grow spiritually that the school doesn't offer so it's a great chance for ministers to invite them to OTM activities.

Another strategy is to ask church members to help serve in teen ministry. During this special time period, church members' hearts are growing closer to the Lord and they want to serve more in the church. OTM encourages church ministers to use this opportunity to invite members to volunteer in teen mission. There are many ways to do this from just simply brainstorming ideas to reach teens to helping serve at an outreach event to evangelizing at schools.

OTM truly sees this season as a time of revival. The dream is to bring numerous teenagers to experience the Gospel during this Easter. Teens have such pure hearts and are longing for answers. May God use this year's Lent powerfully to bring thirsty teenagers all over the world to His Church.

God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."

The Power Within: Embracing the Holy Spirit's Work

In the journey of faith, we often find ourselves eagerly seeking to fulfill the Great Commission, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, just as Jesus commanded his disciples. However, in our fervor to carry out this mission, let us not overlook a crucial commandment given by our Lord Himself.
