Southeast Asia Holds Leadership Training, Builds Foundation for Expansion in New Year
Christians aspiring to service in the church gathered for a leadership training seminar from January 2-5 in Southeast Asia. Bible study and themed lectures will focus on the gift of God's unconditional love through Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God, hoping to strengthen and prepare Christians for future leadership in the church.
During the four-day seminar, intensive study of the scriptures will cover the four core themes in the Bible: Creation, Sin, Salvation, and the Kingdom of God. The event will serve as an opportunity for believers to examine their faith in the salvation of Jesus Christ.
In addition to Bible studies, the program will also include seminars on the basics of Christian leadership, spiritual gifts, and establishing faith-centered families. Core leaders will also meet to determine the course of mission development in 2016.
To support efforts to raise more potential leaders in the church, representatives from the OA SEA General Office will visit and serve as guest speakers during the training.
It is with great hope that as the church greets the New Year through leadership training, it will lay the foundation for greater mission expansion across the nation in 2016.
