Churches Worldwide Braces for Final Week till Christmas, Intensify Evangelism

With Christmas being one week away, churches around the world are anticipating significant in new attendants and believers with intensive evangelism programs targeting for growth in numbers and introducing new ministries to the local mission.

Southeast Asia ministers are actively preparing for various Christmas outreach events to be held in the coming weeks in an effort to breakthrough 70 congregants before the end of the year.

Manila Immanuel Church in Philippines will be having caroling visits to members' homes on December 19th and a Christmas party with caroling and skit performances on December 20th. Apart from that, Bangkok Immanuel Church in Thailand is making arrangements for an evangelistic event on December 20th. Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur Immanuel Community Church will be organizing a Worship Night on Christmas Eve, an evangelistic event on Christmas Day and a full-day event for children on December 26th.

Moscow is hosting retreat in Eurasia region. Russian leaders are expected to develop during the event. Eurasia representatives will also hold important conferences during the period that will determine steps and strategies of mission in the region for the coming year.

Churches in North America are pushing strongly to expand evangelism reach by Christmas. OA NA has also recently issued guidance to create church departments that match the network of international ministries that form a part of the World Olivet Assembly.  These church departments will allow ministers to think with a clear focus for evangelism as they raise people that will then go on to establish these ministries in their cities.
