Churches and Ministries Diligently Strategize for Christmas Outreach

As Christmas nears, WOA regions and ministries are diligently strategizing to gather numerous people in this special time. It is a crucial time when all are called to reveal the true meaning of the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.

In a recent conference, it was exhorted by the WOA General Secretary, "Evangelism is most important in the period leading up to Christmas. Believers and non-believers alike are most sensitive to faith life during Christmas and Easter."

Therefore it is imperative that regions and ministries take on a strong focus and concentrate on how to bring many during Christmas.

Below are the region's outreach strategies and plans leading towards this special season.

SEA will draw on events from previous years where the region's churches successfully gathered many. In addition, they have set up several potential strategies that had been researched recently. The following activities are proposed to be held nearing Christmas: Christmas Party with Gifts' Exchange, Christmas Carols' Night, Organizing Caroling Team to Members' Homes, Presenting a Skit on the First Christmas, Preparing Gift Packs with Invitation to Christmas Service.

OA Asia Pacific will be focusing on a Christmas retreat in Korea, running towards the goal of 1,000 attendees. Currently countries in this region are sending a group of leaders to Korea to participate in this year's Christmas Retreat preparation, while also receive training to hold large scale retreats in the future. OAK churches are especially putting all their efforts on holding this retreat through evangelizing daily and diligently evaluating strategies.

A registration site has been launched and a poster, which contains a QR code to linking viewers with more information, has been created.

OA Latin America is also strategically developing plans and outreaches, especially with the revival of church growth and the addition of new churches that recently joined the denomination.

In Europe, the region is currently planning for large retreats in London, Berlin, and Budapest. Church members envision to invite many new people in order to unveil the true meaning of Christmas and rejoice as God has given us the greatest gift revealed through His son. Their plan is to outreach through Facebook "Boost" as well as local community sites promoting events. Members will distribute flyers together with Christmas related gift packages.

May God bless each ministry and region as they run toward the goal of evangelizing and raising numerous souls during this crucial time of Christmas.

Called to Make Disciples in All Nations
