Senior Ministry Focuses on Church Network, Fellowship Outreach

senior ministry

Senior Ministry is working on expanding its network across the world through collaboration with local churches and reaching out to potential leaders for senior ministry and begin a wave of evangelism to call those in the age group to God's presence and form a community of support.

"The WOA Senior Ministry is extending a warm invitation to the local churches all over the world to join the network the Ministry wants to create. The network will allow the local churches to receive suggestions and ideas to boost their work with seniors who attend church activities and other ones in the surrounding community," said Rafael.

The WOA Senior Ministry has collected some ideas it would like to share with the local churches and it is also eager to know what the local churches are doing in this field so it can spread the news all around. It is not only important for us as church members to know what is going on in our local churches but also to publicize through the Ministry's website.

"Seniors have a lot of good experiences they can share among them and also with other younger church members. Seniors can make a difference in our congregations. Let us work for that difference to become part of our spiritual life," Rafael continued.

The ministry is looking to grow in numbers in 2016, and will start by training leaders of the ministry by providing resources and learning materials that can empower them to reach out to those of their age. By forming a fellowship of similiar age, seniors can share their experience and pain with one another and find their comfort in God, and placing their faith in Him. The ministry hopes that the work of salvation may start in groups like these where Christ is invited to take part in their conversation and life.

May seniors all over the world benefit through this effort. Let us pray for senior ministry and join this active network!
