YEF Presents Its Grand Plan at WGA 2015

During WGA 2015, Youth Evangelical Fellowship's General Secretary Rev. John Tsang made a presentation of the organization's current progress and future plan, painting a grand picture of the future of campus mission globally.

"While 60% Christians who enter college decide to leave their faith, 70% of college students prefer to go to college fellowships than going to church. We have the fellowship structure so that many can come to learn about Jesus through YEF, which can serve as the stepping stone for them to know God more," P.John said as he introduced the need for college ministries.

There are 4 characteristics that set YEF apart; namely, community of believers, spiritual nourishment, life of discipleship and Kingdom worker. Through providing these, YEF provides youths with the context to practice the word of God, profound education of the Scripture, and the opportunity to do something for God using their gifts.

Goals will be achieved through the provision of education resources, vision trips, and evangelism toolsets for missionaries, implementing mass evangelism event model, developing stable finance, conducting goal-oriented mission, and utilizing online community.

For its mission projections, P.John presented a 3-year, 6-year, 10-year, 12-year, 14-year, and 18-year projections of how YEF can grow exponentially toward reaching the entire population of this world.

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead," as Apostle Paul did, YEF will continue to run toward the promised harvest in the upcoming years, as its representatives confer to make plans and strategies during the remaining time of WGA.

Not by Might: The Call to Lead Through the Holy Spirit and God’s Word

In Christian leadership, the temptation to depend on human strength is constant. Leaders may trust their education, experience, or strategies to carry out the work of ministry. God’s Gift and Our Response: The Cycle of Grace, Gratitude, and Worship

The Christian faith is marked by a unique and profound rhythm: grace, gratitude, and praise. Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."
