Fellowships and Churches Push Campus Evangelism for New Semester
Churches and ministries across the US are preparing for a huge push of evangelism during the beginning of the new school year for colleges and universities. As a result thousands of freshmen are making their way onto these campuses to mark a new chapter in their lives and find their identity. Ministers are taking advantage of this opportunity to promote their Sunday services, Bible studies, and youth ministries to those who may be seeking a fellowship to join.
YEF International has been meeting with churches and youth ministries delivering suggestions and tips on how best to evangelize and promote events that students will be attracted to.
Additionally, this is a great opportunity to expand the outreaches that each church is offering. College students may not initially be interested in becoming involved in the church or a Bible study, but they can be exposed to the gospel and the love of Christ through the other programs being offered by ministers. Ministers have been using this time to post flyers throughout the schools and in local student hotspots to promote seminars and give students another opportunity to become involved.
Please pray for this effort of evangelism to continue to grow in both passion and success. Let the evangelists and pastors be strengthened as they passionate pursue God's work around these institutions.
