YEF Introduces Six-Stage Education Roadmap

YEF

Youth Evangelical Fellowship is finalizing a six-stage education roadmap with its Education Department, paving the path for new comers to grow toward commitment to the fellowship, and eventually full devotion to the Kingdom of God.

Each stage accompanies a certain set of Bible studies, as well as higher standards to keep than the previous one.

"As we fill the six 'jars' one by one, God is the one who makes every growth possible, and eventually transforms the quality of each life altogether. With this systematic way of discipleship, it is our hope for YEF to contain and raise numerous souls in an efficient manner," shared YEF Education Department.

Stage 1 "From Attention to Interest" will guide a complete new comer to an explorer, with deeper interest in exploring the Bible and Christian life. The new comers will receive a list of commonly asked questions, from which they can choose those that interest them the most. The minister will give short messages according to their questions and lead them to further exploration of the Truth. The explorer will join various events in YEF to be exposed to the Biblical truth and lifestyle.

Stage 2 "From Interest to Decision" will guide an explorer to regular attendance in Bible studies, with the help of a mentor who encourages and helps him or her to know and seek God in daily lives.

Stage 3 "From Decision to Discipleship" will lead the regular student toward the confession of Jesus as Savior and the decision to follow Him as a disciple of the Lord. The disciple is expected to keep higher standard of the Word and prayer in daily lives, with more frequent participation in YEF.

Stage 4 "From Discipleship to Commitment" will lead a disciple toward YEF Membership. The disciple will join "Discipleship Bible Studies" while also participating in YEF gatherings.

Stage 5 "From Commitment to Leadership" will lead a YEF Member to become a YEF Campus Leader. The member will grow in shepherding and event planning, while attending leadership training series "YEF KinDLE".

Stage 6 "From Leadership to Devotion" will lead a YEF Campus Leader to become a devoted to ministry. The YEF leader is expected to grow in understanding of and passion for a life devoted to God's kingdom.
