SEA Organizes Topics for Effective Bible Seminars

SEA

Towards spurring churches to organize effective Bible seminars, SEA General Office has recently reorganized a list of potential topics to be promoted as issues to be discussed at Bible seminars.

The choice of topics is a critical process as it would influence the type of people that are being drawn to attendance at any particular seminar.

In view of this, the following topics are being proposed for consideration:

A. Theology & Faith

1. How Can I Know that God Exists?
2. How Can I Know God through His Book?
3. Why is Jesus Christ the Only Way to Salvation?
4. Who is Holy Spirit & Why We Need Him?
5. Why Does God Allow Evil & Suffering?
6. The Trinitarian God

B. Christian Life

1. What is the Purpose of Life?
2. God & Money
3. Why Doesn't God Answer Me?
4. Overcoming Fear
5. How to Discern God's Will for My Life?
6. How Can I Be Sure that I Am Saved?

C. Relationships

1. Is There True Love that is Worth Waiting?
2. Faithfulness in Marriage
3. When Forgiveness Seems Impossible
4. Raising Children to Love God & His People
5. Raising Relational Kids in a Screen-Driven World
6. Discipline & Yet Love, Possible?

Apart from continually adding to the list of topics above, helpful resources will also be compiled for every topic that are being proposed for ministers to study further in advance to answer possible questions that may be raised during the seminars.

Called to Make Disciples in All Nations

In His Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples-not simply to inspire a single moment of conversion but to lead others into a committed, lifelong walk with Him. As Reformed theologian R.C. Sproul wisely reminds us, "Jesus' lordship encompasses all of life."

In the journey of faith, we often find ourselves eagerly seeking to fulfill the Great Commission, to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, just as Jesus commanded his disciples.
