YEF Chennai Host Youth Conferece 'Unfailing Love'

The Youth Evangelical Fellowship in Chennai, India has hosted a youth conference themed "Unfailing Love" on Saturday September 19th.

Neil Vimalkumar, a senior leader of the Ravi Zacharias International Ministry (RZIM), presented as a guest speaker. Mr. Vimalkumar shared, "Christian life is not just accepting Jesus and leaving but the way one could give love back to God. That is participating in the dream of God in building his kingdom." Mr. Vimalkumar is an itinerant speaker of the RZIM in India.

The attendants of the event were from various colleges around the city including Loyola College, Madras Christian College, SRM Engineering College, Women's Christian College, Nazareth College of Arts and Science, St. Peter's Engineering College, and Full Gospel Bible College.

"It was a very blessed evening and much different than other events," shared Calvin, one of the attendants.

"I got answers for many questions in my life through this gathering. I would like to continue keeping contact with the ministry," shared another.

"We hope to hold many such mass events in future not only in Chennai, but other cities in India," shared Pastor Moses, the YEF coordinator in Chennai.

Christianity has approximately 27.8 million followers in India, only 2.3 percent of India's population. YEF Chennai is planning to expand their mission territory through many regions in India and minister India with other chapters in YEF South Asia.
